We have several Special Education classes at Douglas Creative Arts & Science Magnet School.  We have a Pre-K class, a Cross Categorical Kindergarten class, a Cross Categorical I, and Cross Categorical II class & two full-time Cross Categorical Resource Special Education teachers on staff.  The special education teachers consult with regular education teachers and provide direct special education services to students with diagnosed disabilities and who are found to be in need of special education. We serve students in grades in Pre–K, and grades K-5, providing support to student's with behavioral and/or academic needs.
