Kindergarten

Welcome to Kindergarten!  Here at Douglas Creative Arts and Science Magnet School, our Kindergarten Team teaches the North Carolina Standard Course of Study using the Multiple Intelligences. The M.I.s include: Art Smart, Body Smart, Music Smart, Nature Smart, Math Smart, People Smart, Self Smart and Word Smart. We collaborate weekly to plan lessons that incorporate the M.I.s into our daily lessons and homework. We also work collaboratively with the specialists to insure that the M.I.s are utilized to meet the needs of all students.
