Driving Info and Car Pool Safety One of the parking lots has been closed because it is to be repaved soon. This has proved parking a challenge around Douglas. The school is concerned about the safety of all children during drop-off and dismissal times. **Do not park on the sides of Ortega Dr. where No Parking is posted. This clogs the street and presents a traffic hazard and danger to our children. **Please pull into car pool from Windsor Rd. direction and make a right hand turn down Compton Rd. hill. This is especially important during the PM traffic pattern. It will keep the traffic moving in an orderly fashion. *Students are to wait until either a student patrol or staff member opens the car door for them. Cars should pull to those persons and not drop off at the steps. *Cars should remain in line until the cars in front of them pull ahead. We have had near accidents from cars pulling around other cars waiting in line. These are only a few simple rules we ask you to follow to ensure the safety of you and your children. Thank you for your cooperation.
